Give Your Time. Grow Our Mission.
Join the Creative Humanity Alliance as a volunteer and help bring cultural healing through creativity, story, and human connection.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteers power the Alliance. By contributing your time and skills, you’ll:
- Support Creativity — Help artists bring their work to life in the Pantry and beyond.
- Strengthen Community — Be part of a global network working for cultural healing.
- Learn & Grow — Gain experience in nonprofit operations, outreach, and project development.
- Make a Difference — Every task — big or small — contributes to a more connected humanity.
Volunteer Roles We’re Seeking
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life. Current needs include:
- Marketing & Media — social media, digital content, video, and design.
- Fundraising & Grants — research, writing, and donor support.
- Community Outreach — peer-to-peer fundraising, events, and partnership building.
- Nonprofit Support — administration, coordination, and project management.
Whether you can give a few hours a month or take on ongoing responsibilities, there’s a place for you here.
The Commitment
- Flexible Time: From one-time projects to ongoing support.
- Your Skills Matter: We’ll match your abilities with meaningful tasks.
Connection First: Work alongside artists, advisors, and other volunteers in a supportive environment.
Pathways to Paid Roles
As the Alliance grows and funding stabilizes, we plan to open paid positions to support our expanding programs. These roles will naturally be filled first by volunteers who have already contributed their time, understand our mission, and know our systems.
Volunteering today isn’t just a way to make a difference — it’s also a way to position yourself for future opportunities as part of the team.
Why Now?
The Alliance is growing fast — from artist residencies to projects like Blue Sky Park. Volunteers are essential to making this vision real. This is your opportunity to be part of something transformative, right from the ground up.

FAQ - Board Members & Volunteers
We’re building a multi-tiered board structure that includes both high-level advisors and hands-on leaders. Our vision is to bring together expertise from across fields — business, education, law, arts, and nonprofit leadership — to guide and sustain the Alliance’s growth.
We’re especially interested in leaders across three advisory tiers:
Strategic Advisors — Experts in:
- Law (nonprofit, intellectual property, licensing — especially in music and visual arts)
- Business (active or retired C-level and management executives who want to make a lasting contribution to humanity)
- Education (department heads and career development leaders at universities and schools who can help build pipelines connecting top creative talent to meaningful opportunities)
Creative Advisors — Experienced producers and directors (film, television, stage) who can help organize and manage creative cohorts. These leaders bring order to the natural chaos of creative collaboration, ensuring projects align with the Alliance’s mission of creating art that demonstrates both the benefits of human connection and the consequences of its absence.
Volunteer Advisors — Leaders who can coordinate volunteer teams across marketing, grant writing, nonprofit administration, and community outreach. This includes helping launch peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns for projects like Blue Sky Park installations.
Not necessarily. What we value most is expertise, commitment, and a willingness to contribute your knowledge to cultural healing through creativity. We’ll provide orientation and support so you can step into your role with confidence.
Advisory board members typically commit 4–6 hours per month, including quarterly board meetings and occasional committee work. Some roles may involve additional time during active projects.
Board members are asked to make a personally meaningful contribution of time and or funds and to help with fundraising — whether through connections, introductions, or strategy. This ensures we model leadership in giving and sustainability.
Yes! Volunteers are essential to our work. We welcome support in areas like event coordination, digital media, fundraising, and community outreach. Volunteers help power the Alliance day-to-day, and we provide meaningful opportunities for you to grow, contribute, and connect.
Yes! Many colleges and universities offer academic credit, internship hours, or service-learning recognition for volunteer work completed through nonprofit organizations. Students interested in earning credit should check with their career development office, academic advisor, or internship coordinator to confirm eligibility and documentation requirements.
The Alliance is happy to provide verification letters, supervisor contacts, and descriptions of volunteer roles to help students receive the credit they’ve earned.
Fill out our board or volunteer interest form, and we’ll connect to explore where your expertise and passion best fit within the Alliance.
